Diploma in Child Health (DCH)
Post Graduate Diploma in Child Health (DCH) is a postgraduate Paediatrics Diploma course. Pediatric nursing or child health nursing is the specialty nursing care of infants, children and adolescents. In this course, the main emphasis is given to nursing care of infants, children and adolescents at the community and primary and secondary levels of health care.
The duration of the Diploma in Child Health is two years (maximum and minimum duration also may vary), and it may be provided by certain institutes part-time as well. The duration of the course is two years. Many institutes are offering this degree course on their campuses. A diploma in Child Health is a very valuable and important one that opens many career scopes for them after completion.
Post Graduate Diploma in Child Health DCH Eligibility
- Complete 10+2 examinations with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks from any recognized board
- SC/ST/OBC candidates are given a relaxation of 5% marks
- The minimum age to apply for the course is 17 years
- Candidates must be in possession of an undergraduate MBBS degree from any college/university recognized by the Medical Council of India
